In Collaboration with Catholic Charities Of NW California

Providing Shelter and Dignity to Our Unhoused Neighbors
In 2020 we opened the Tiny House Village where we provide shelter, food, hygiene and number of other services to our unhoused neighbors in the Sonoma Valley.
-
Temporary Emergency Shelter: A safe haven for those experiencing homelessness while they work toward stability.
-
Supportive Services: Resources that address immediate needs like food, hygiene, and mental health support.
-
Permanent Housing Placement: Long-term strategies to create permanent, affordable housing options in Sonoma Valley.

Our Four Pillar Approach

Advocacy
We host group meals, service projects, and volunteer events so sheltered and unsheltered neighbors can connect, listen, and grow together—building trust, breaking stereotypes, and raising a unified voice for change.
Prevention
We design and deploy holistic, collaborative, and preventative strategies that address both systemic and personal causes of housing instability — building resilient supports, restoring dignity, and opening doors to long-term housing and stability.
Collaboration
We partner with local nonprofits with the goal of building a seamless support network—sharing expertise, resources, and coordinated care so every Sonoma Valley person at risk has help with housing, food, and healthcare, without gaps.
Navigation
We are the only organization in the Sonoma Valley that offers emergency housing. We offer this housing without preconditions and pair it with supportive services to help people reclaim independence and attain permanent housing.

Give Joy, Hope & Shelter
Our founder, Annie Falandes, began this organization with a hope and a dream. Dignity, shelter, and a fresh start to our forgotten neighbors. That dream, Homeless Action Sonoma, opened its doors in 2021. Since then, we’ve helped place more than 40 people into long-term housing and we serve over 50-100 people every week.
Donations and grants keep this dream alive. Your generosity provides warmth on cold nights, resources for brighter days, and the promise that no neighbor is forgotten.
